Pre-Travel Consultation & Health Checks
Coordinate a review of health needs, medication, travel readiness and required care arrangements before departure.
Overview
Preparation is one of the most important parts of a safer medical pilgrimage. Our pre-travel process helps identify medical needs, organize essential health information and create a coordinated care plan before departure.
Who it supports
- Pilgrims living with long-term medical conditions
- Elderly travellers preparing for Hajj or Umrah
- Anyone unsure what medical preparation their journey needs
What coordination may include
- Medical-history review
- Risk screening
- Medication review
- Documentation checklist
- Destination-care planning
- Referral for physician clearance where required
How it works
Enquiry
Tell us about the pilgrim, travel plans and the support needed.
Assessment
We review the available health information and any documentation or clearance required.
Care plan
We agree the support, destination arrangements and escalation plan.
Coordination
We coordinate the agreed support before, during and after the journey.
Eligibility and availability
A pre-travel assessment supports planning. Medical eligibility for travel and pilgrimage must be determined by the appropriate treating clinician and applicable Saudi health requirements.
Questions
How early should we contact you before travelling?
As early as possible. Medical documents, destination arrangements and any travelling support take time to coordinate, so contacting us once travel is being considered gives the most options. Shorter notice can still be discussed, depending on the case and provider availability.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
Our care team reviews the information you provide and contacts you to discuss your needs, the medical documentation required, service availability and the next steps. Sending an enquiry is not a booking, and no medical reports are needed at this stage.
Can you guarantee that a patient can perform Hajj or Umrah?
No. Medical eligibility depends on the patient's condition, treating-clinician advice and applicable Saudi health and entry requirements. I Taqwa Care supports planning and coordination but does not override medical or regulatory requirements.
Request a Care Assessment

Not for medical emergencies. In an emergency, contact the local emergency services immediately.
